I'm home from The Big Apple! They begged me to stay on Broadway since I'm (what they call) a natural; they applauded my sweet dance moves and natural, God given singing abilities. Ok, Ok.. so only a couple of people were enthusiastic. But they have connections, if you know what I'm sayin'.
Um. Right. So the rave reviews came from a homeless man who was already clapping to himself before I walked past and a guy from Brooklyn who said, "fogedda bout it."
And the guy from Brooklyn was actually responding to a question I had about a ferry ride and not my performing talents.. which I guess is a good thing.
Whatever.
I can say that made an impression there.
I'm home, safe and happy, but they'll have to calf-rope me to keep me here for long. :)
