Briefly..

Alaska is amazing.

That's really all I need to share.

I don't think that I can verbally express to you the beauty that is inherent in Alaska, the spirituality that accompanies the nature, and the miracles - the designs of water, ice, earth, and air that illustrate godly art (inspired moments !) sometimes configured in different orders , but crafted and purposeful.

And cruising is so much fun! It was nice to have a "home base" for all of the excursions. I even got to unpack. Also, there are always a million things to do on the ship: There were art auctions, wine tasting, karaoke, tango lessons, towel art class, a spa, and MORE! Rich and I didn't take part in many of the extras - we found other things to do.. BUT cruising is a lot of fun! See these pictures for the proof (of the ship activities and excursions):

I LOVED getting to have this vacation! I am a very lucky girl! (Thank you, Mom!!!)

Ginger,
Your Alaska trip looks like it was both romantic and fun. It makes me want to take a cruise with Neal. I'm glad to hear that your trip was so wonderful and that you made it home safely. I only have a couple of things to say about the pictures.

#1 Biking and drinking are not a safe combination. So bike and brew, maybe not such a good idea. I think we all agree that the picture with wet pants is proof enough.

#2 I hate to be the one to break it to you. But that was not the real Eric Clapton. I just hope that guy didn't make you pay him to let you take that picture. And well, the autograph really isn't worth much, so you can probably go ahead and wash it off.

Sorry, couldn't resist. I loved the pictures. Especially the funny ones mixed in with all of the beautiful and sweet ones.

Thanks for sharing your pics with those of us who might never make it to Alaska.

Love you,

Amy
