Rich and I are proud to announce that we are having a baby boy! A tall, skinny, gangly nerd boy, just like all the other men in Rich's family. And we LOVE that idea! All looks healthy and normal for the baby, which is a relief! I lost two more pounds which is BAD BAD BAD, but I'm trying to help it by eating more frequently throughout the day, instead of trying to eat three meals a day. I am supposed to have gained 10-15 pounds by now, and I've gained a total of 4. But the baby is fine! :) He is a little miracle and we are so excited! Now. About names...

I couldn't be happier for you and Rich!! I am so excited!! A little boy, how precious! I am happy he's healthy and doing well!! I wish you well on gaining weight! I sure wish I could step up to cause and give a few pounds of mine!!Ha!!
Congratulations on your bouncing baby boy!!
Hooray! Congrats on baby boy Cooter! If you are like us, you will suddenly hate all names you used to like. When you find the right name for little one, you will know.
And all the pregnant women in the world hate you and your mere 4 lbs. Who really cares about weight gain if you and the baby are healthy? It is better to eat throughout the day, and that should help with your energy levels too.
CONGRATS!!!!!!
I am so excited for you both!!!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!!!
Many many congrats. Let the fights over naming begin :)
Yea that means I really can always call him Cooter. Congrats guys. Zacky will have a little boy buddy.
Love You Guys
Yea! Boys can't get pregnant and you don't have to explain periods! That's good stuff. :)
Oh Boy!! Congratulations...Boys are SO much fun. You are going to have a blast with him. I agree with christine, you don't have to explain periods...that is until they get old enough and ask you about yours. Yea...that's awkward!
ps - my cousin only gained a total of 12 pounds when she was pregnant. Her little boy is healthy as can be, as is she. In fact, looking at him today, you would think she had gained a whole lot more!
Yay!!!! Little boys are so great! I'm not biased or anything, though...
Congratulations!
Thanks, you guys! You rock!
We are so SO excited and so SO overwhelmed at the same time. Luckily, I have a fantastic partner who is already reading up on all the baby stuff we need to know. He's adorable. Last night he turned to me and said, "Hey, did you know that you are only supposed to wash your baby's hair once a week? I didn't know that." And neither did I. I later learned that he had been reading the chapter on "How to bathe a newborn" in the Dr. Sears Baby book.
So, while I'm working on getting my head wrapped around what the hell is happening to my body and how I am possibly going to be able to actually DELIVER a human being into the world, he is working on the whole what to do to actually keep that being alive and well.
Needless to say, with your enthusiasm and my wonderful Wratch, I feel pretty supported.
So thanks!
I'm so excited and happy for you guys! Congratulations! Boys are a ton of fun.

Everyone is having boys. It must be in the water. Our good friends just had a boy on Saturday, our other friends had a boy right before Christmas, Zacks speech therapist is having a boy and so is my cousin. Yikes that is a lot of boys populating our earth. You guys will be great parents but it is scary I am not going to lie, I didn't even have to worry about the giving birth part so it is totally understandable that you are a little worried.
