I'm having my own girl retreat this week-end, as Rich has gone to his folks house in Amarillo and I have elected to stay here in an effort to preserve my own sanity. Girl retreats require tons of chocolate, silk pj's, and excellent music. Here's a sample of some kick ass girl artists and a sampling of the music I'll be listening to this week-end:

Yeah, I'm diggin the radio blog. It's funny that my girl week-end will be made up of mostly sports - I'm going to go to my girls' softball game tomorrow because they are extra amazing and are first in the district. On Sunday I'm off to the season opener FC Dallas game with Christine.
I might go to the Ft. Worth arts festival (again with Christine who is apparently my baby sitter this week-end), but mostly I plan to lay around the house in my silk robe, sipping merlot and listening to lots and lots of girlie muse-ic.
Sounds like fun! We apparently are both on line at the same time! Pretty cool it's like were chatting or instant messaging!
