Things that are disturbing about this video: 1. It is looped... isn't once enough? 2. What's that shadow in the lower left? The looping makes this aspect even more disturbing. (Is this the director moving? Anyone else scared of the idea that there was a director?) 3. Why does someone have a monkey in what appears to be an apartment kitchen? 4. Why is this shot in really crappy black and white? It leaves me with a "this was smuggled out of eastern Europe and you really shouldn't be watching it" kind of feel. No good!!
All that aside, thanks for the reminder that life is absurd... in your metaphor are we the monkey or the cat???
Hey! All seem to be enjoying themselves: cat, monkey, and creepy shadow guy. You see, Christine, this is a social commentary on humanity: that no matter what your genus or species, no matter if you live in Eastern Europe or Western America, no matter if you are white or black, or a ghost(?), one mystic commonality binds us all together:
