Bloody Bex!

I stole this pic from Rockstar Mommy. I couldn't help myself, and I will (eventually) admit to having a problem..

I think I mentioned before that he will be playing for the LA Galaxy (for an exorbitant, ungodly, -I'm ashamed to say how much- sum of money), and I will be attending the FC Dallas v. Galaxy games, despite my anti-capitalist dry heaves.. Sorry folks. I'm only female...I mean human.

Seriously, just look at the picture.

I find little need for words at the moment. (dreamy sigh)

So, yea, I think God manufactured this man well. Yep, sure did.

Come see us when you go to the FC Dallas games--we live about two blocks away from the stadium.

Yes, he is pretty. Just so you all know, I hear that FC Dallas will NOT be selling single game tickets to the Galaxy games here. What that means is that if you want a seat to that game, you have to buy a season ticket package. I believe the smallest package is a 6-game set.

This is very smart on their part, and I sincerely hope it will get folks interested in the team here. Going to the games is really fun, there's not a bad seat in the stadium, we Tarrant County folks can combine it with a trip to IKEA (go Swedes!) or some other consumerist fun, and it's nice to join the fraternity of soccer/football/futbol/fussball lovers out there. Talk about internationalism!

I've looked at FC tickets and you're right about the packages, Fougs. Here's the thing: it's $100 per person to reserve a spot to reserve seats.(!)

For the record, Rich and I were looking at tickets before the Bex announcement and soccer is WAY less expensive than hockey. It looks like if we want to "get our sport on" we should pick soccer. Plus, we LOVE hanging out with you and Jamie and if we go the games, we might actually understand what you're talking about regarding soccer!!!

Too bad baseball is boring, because that's the cheapest way to go and has the shortest commute!

BTW, we like FC Dallas with or without international superstars!

you know, his [their] first game is against Houston. And it's not hard at all to get tickets here. Wanna visit?

YES! We've converted you! Now that you've put it in writing, the head of the soccer cult will send us a toaster. Sweet!

All this time I thought you were our freinds, but now I see. You were just in it for the toaster. (If only I had a nickel for everytime that's happened.) I expect you'll stop answering our phone calls now. Or do you get a blender if we get season passes?
So who's this David fellow anyway? Is he any good? At soccer. Thought I'd clarify.

Neal - yes, most def. I will call ya'll when/if we go to FC games now that I know how close to the stadium you are! Also, I miss you guys!

Annie - with or without soccer, we should come and visit! (though soccer is a great excuse!)I miss you guys, too!

Fougs - let's go for that blender!
Talk to your peeps. I think we are eager for tickets, especially if they are near yous guys (plus gas is cheaper if we travel in fours... just sayin'.) What's Ali's number again?
